Good Morning,
I am considering an Arsenal 40-205 RF and was interested if anyone had any thoughts or experiences with this bullet that they would like to share. It will be used in a variety of 38-40's.
Thanks for the input.

I hadn't looked at Arsenal's stuff in a while so I pulled up their web page and checked out that 40-205RF. Nice looking boolit!

I've been shooting a 40 cal. Ranch Dog -style gas check design that casts up 205 to 210 grains depending on alloy. My silhouette load in the old M92 38/40 is about a 1200 fps load and shoots nice to 200 yards. It doesn't need the gas check at that velocity for leading purposes but my boolit design likes the g.c. for a little improvement in accuracy, so I use it. I like the looks of that 205RF -- I might have to go after one of those. Nice crimp groove and a big enough lube groove (I would guess) to use with black powder.

That one may have been my fault:wink: I had purchased a beat up '92 with a great bore and needed something to feed it. It shoots very well in my '92. About 1.5"@50 yds (about all my eyes will do nowadays).
