Picked this up yesterday. Pretty cool old brass mold. I will have to measure the cavities.

Looks like one I had that came in a box with a cap and ball revolver.

Here's a possibility?

It looks like it says made in 1896, that may be a clue also.

Its a mold for a Cap&Ball revolver.

What caliber can not be determined by the pictures. How old?

At the sale I posted about a few weeks back I tossed it in the reloading supplies box’s along with that Winchester 1973...and a lot of other toys n guns I picked up. Trying to figure out what’s what so I pawn sone of it off to re coop what I spent and end up with sone of staff at no cost when I’m done. Didn’t know it this was a rare mold or not. Finally got to go over to the house yesterday. I have zero knowledge of hold it is. It was piled in a bunch of reloading stuff. I’ll have to mic it for measurements.

I'm pretty sure EuroArms wasn't around in 1896.

Those little brass molds used to come in the box with a new BP gun.

Got one similar to that, though with 2 RB cavities, stamped on the bottom 437. On one of the top flats is stamped 0471. On the side of one of the halves is stamped ITALY.

Well at least it has wooden handles and a sprue plate. It shouldn't be all that painful to try a test cast with.

I measured today and it looks like .366? I used a cheap HP micrometer.

EuroArms was an Italian replica importer in the mid/late 1970's. That's a mould from one of their replica revolvers.

Euroarms was a major player in the Italian Cap and Ball replica trade back in the 70's through the 80's. I had an Enfield replica for a while that they had imported. I think they are still in business although I am not positive. I don't shoot black powder anymore.
