I have some work to do on this Lee LM I got from a member on a bowhunting forum. It’s in need of some TLC. Looking forward to getting it runnin’ and gunnin’.

Looks to be missing a few parts.
But it does look clean.

Don't worry about winning a beauty contest:
Bolt it down, oil & grease it, install any missing parts, and you're good to go.

GP tastes funny

I'd consider sending it back to Lee to remanufacture and it will come back good as new, it least mine did.

If I remember the price you paid for it even if you never got it working the case feeder, coallator , powder measure and dies are worth more than you paid and will work on other equipment . Hard to lose on that deal :)

I’d replace the flipper, priming system and spend some time with it, learning how it works and getting it to function smoothly before breaking out the powder, primers and bullets.

What caliber are you intending to load with it?

I paid $60 shipped to me so I’m not complaining one bit :)

I’ll be loading 9mm, 38spl, 357mag and good Ole 45acp with lubed cast boolits on the 38,357 and 45. Possibly PC boolits in the 9, but haven’t decided to tackle that endeavor yet lol.

Take your time figuring out how it's supposed to work now will save you a lot of aggravation later . Simple things like adjusting the carrier , adjusting the rod that rotates the shell plate makes the machine operate much smoother .
Enjoy the process

Well, I gotta hand it to Lee Precision once again. First, they delivered the parts I needed for my 10lbs’er to bottom pour with it and now they are sending me 7 of the 9 missing pieces I needed for this press free of charge. I only had to pay for the shipping. So, so far I have $76 bucks invested in it and will be able to start loading once the parts arrive later this week or early next week for 9mm. Now I need to find a 38/357 and 45acp shell plate and I’m good to load 4 calibers for less than $100 total investment. I’m happy with that :)

So I started the teardown of the LoadMaster. It had a few spots of rust but they buffed out pretty good. So far so good.......https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210204/d304b1e9db0f17f05f2002825542a7cd.jpg

You need way more stuff on that bench than that, I see bare spots.

Very true.

GunBlue490 on youtube has a super comprehensive guide on getting the Loadmaster rolling.

I don't even have a Loadmaster, and I watched the whole thing.

It is lacking a few parts, but thanks to Lee Precision they should be here by Saturday. Lol

That's how you learn to work on and operate your press . Take it apart and put it back together your half way there hahaha .
It looks like it's in good shape .
