Buddy Brett came up from WI and went and shot a buffalo. Shot it with his 500 linebaugh. Fun was had by all.

Lloyd,

Is Willy charging you a dollar a word for your posts? $50 a pic? :)

Possibly a little more detail?

Such brevity in my Courtroom would be refreshing.

Sorry guys i forgot what load he was using and am waiting for a reply to the email i sent. Ill give you a few more details then. Buffalo was about 800 lbs and was shot with a high shoulder shot at about 40 yards. Dropped in its tracks. Ive shot and witnessed being shot probably 25 buffalo now and this was the quickest kill ive seen. Usually hit with even a 500 then act like it was a bee sting. Ive seen them hit with a 500 linebaugh using 450s at 1300 and continue grazing until they fell over dead. This one looked like it was hammered into the ground. It took a finisher to the head but unless you shoot them there the first time they all do. Kind of good they stay kicking until you can cut there throats and blead them anyway.

Good job posting those pictures, Lloyd!

Now the camera owner needs to reset the date in his camera....
