When I size BHN 15 Lyman 35793 or 35891 bullets using my Lyman 450 with Alox and a .357 H & I set that I bought 50 years ago everything works smoothly. Last year I decided to size some 35793 bullets to .356 for my S & W Model 39 using a Lyman .356 H & I set. Nothing but trouble. Lots of pressure required and some bullets stuck in the die. I bought a RCBS .356 sizing die which works great. I had the same problem with BHN 15 429421s. They stick in a Lyman .430 die but size easily in a RCBS .429 die. I can’t get through to Lyman customer service. Has anybody else experienced this problem?

Sounds like the dies that stick needs a final polish. I have a .309 die that sized closer to .310 that I wanted to open up to .310+. So I spun it and used a stick with some 600 grit paper. I tried it and my bullet stuck. I had to tap on the ejector to get it out. So I spun it some more and finished with 1000 grit paper, bobs you're uncle, smooth as always.
