Cast 5.56 in AR-15 Results

Ok so finally got all my load made up and went to test them today aaannnd my target camera and chronograph had battery issues so had to postpone the full test. Anyhow here's the results with the first set of sighters at 50yd.

And I really blame myself for the last one as I have shot anything above a .22lr in a while so yeah but all in all I think this is pretty decent (and there's where just sighter rounds btw). Everything cycled extremely well only had one hand up and probably has do do with the fact my 10rd mag is kinda crappy ( had rounds trying to pop out before I even put it in the gun) no key holing either. And heres my velocity results.

Presuming a GI assembly my work was done in an ATS Omni Hybrid 1-8 16" carbine gas M4 type and an H bar knock off 1-8 16" carbine gas kit rifle both delivering 2.5" groups with 556 FMJ type factory loads at 100 , and my carefully worked up NOE 225-55 @62 gr greased and checked , over H322 for 2" at 2050 fps MV . I'd say you're off to a pretty good start .

About all you can do is have a baseline and work up a load that good or better .
The USN and Army standard is 3" or less at 100 is a combat ready rifle .
I know we can do much better but if the bits and pieces will only do so so much it's sometimes hard to over come them .

Keep at it, bud. You'll work it out. 3.0 MOA ain't bad, it's frustrating, but be patient and work on it. You'll get as close as possible and have to settle for that. Been There Done That.
I'll add this: I like your note-taking. Wish I was that meticulous. I have some, not near as many as yours.

I use the Lee 55gr with a gas check, powdercoated and sized to .225 23.0 gr. Of win 748 with 2.100 col. Thanks to Elvis ammo it works for me.
It groups very well.
