Recommended .30 Carbine dies?

What reloading dies do y'all recommend for .30 Carbine?

What ever brand you like. I like Lee, others prefer anything but.

I have Lee carbide dies that I have changed the lock ring on to the adjusting kind the biggest part of my other dies are RCBS I guess like them best . I can not find any thing wrong with the Lee dies .

Are you loading for an original US carbine, a Universal commercial, an Iver Johnson commercial, mixed make parts gun or a Ruger Blackhawk revolver? I use RCBS. Threw the Lee dies in the trash.

I've had good luck with Lee dies. But with 30 carbine even when using carbide dies, you'll want to use case lube. I use Hornady One Shot spray.

I have used RCBS, Lee Loader, and Lachmiller dies and they all worked. The Lee Loader needed military brass to seat a bullet good and tight but it still loaded ammo with the best of them if oyou used the right components. james

My 30 carbine dies are made by RCBS.
They have given me years of good use.
I have grand kids that like the 30 carbine.
Many thousands of rounds have been loaded with these dies.

If you shoot cast/lubed, Dillon dies have the hitch pin that allows easy cleaning without removing the die and losing your setting.

They all work, otherwise they would not be sold. Don't overthink really simple things.

Prefer rcbs dies over the others. They stand behind their product. I had a .25-06 Ruger #1V with a tight chamber [factory ammo was fine] that my rcbs sizer die would not size a case small enough to work. Called them, sent them 3 fired cases and the die and they sent me one that worked. I like all their reloading equipment, Lyman makes quality stuff too.

I use my Lyman 310 set with either the handles or one of my Lyman Tru Line Jr's . Old habits are hard to break .

I am low volume 30 carbine loader. For my purposes The Lee work well but as I recall, I got mine back during the CMP carbine rush and all I could find were the Lees. I think right now it will be whatever you can find!

I think mine are RCBS but I haven't used them in so long I don't remember :(

I prefer Lyman dies for all "straight wall" cartridges because of their excellent "M" expander die. It can be used to great advantage on all .30 cal. cartridges. (And for seating of any bullets, especially so for cast.)

Calling most "straight wall" cartridges straight really isn't true; most do have a bit of taper, including the .30 Carbine. I do not like the truly straight effect carbide sizers have on the ol' M1. The TC size rings overwork the lower case and leads to split cases that would not have split so early IF I had used a conventional steel sizer.

Yeah. They do for most folk but it seems some guys want to blame Lee's reloading tools when their car fuel pump quits. IME, no tool works very well when it's used wrong.

any well known brand as long as its has a Tungstion carbide sizer , with the 30 carbine and sloppy chambers with excessive brass expansion try some regular case lube to save your arm.
