Can't blame a flimsy shooting bench for misses any more.

This was my first. Mistakes were made. Didn't vibrate enough or mix was to dry. Has small pinholes. But I used inexpensive sackrete instead of the good stuff used for counter tops. But it is solid.

Nice and solid.... give it a good coat of exterior porch/concrete paint and cut a piece of carpet for the top that can be removed and stored away.

Old yoga mat from girlfriend or spouse will work on top. Store under neither on old rolling chair, keeps dry when raining.

Silly but it works in snowy Minne-snowta! Window saddle shooting mount.

"Just a wild guess not portable"

Of course it's portable. Just have to use the tractor.

One of my mentors had a similar setup for the last 20+ years of his life, only his bullets went through a 100 yard “tunnel” made of dog wire and poly tarp material, ending at a lighted backstop. Behind the style of rest shown he had a heavy bench with his “rail gun” for serious testing. One could really test the accuracy potential of a rifle at Charlie Dell’s place, and people came from as far away as Italy to do so!

Great idea, I might give that a go using one of those precast pads of the type used for outdoor AC units. That way its a bit more portable if I ever want to reposition it.
Thanks for the idea'
