I have a 1911 and am struggling with SWC feeding. I dont have any reason to continue messing with SWC and am considering just getting a different boolit. I'd like a HP and I've seen the MP-452-200 recommended. Would these feed 100% as good as a RN? If not then I will keep looking.

By the way does it work with lee handles?

Also can I PC these no problem?

1911 pistols in the old days most required throating to feed HP or most SWC bullets , that has improved a lot in the last 40 or 50 years so it kinda all depends on what your 1911 will work with and magazines make a difference.
I have had a few 1911s but am no expert on them. I have tried to like them :) a great classic American handgun.
But one thing for sure we have guys here that can offer some solutions for you.

I have the MP-452-200 and yes it does feed well and yes you can powder coat it. I have run a few thousand of these through my 1911's without issue. I also use lee handles and they work fine. The MP handles are nice but just a touch to big for my hand when they are closed.

Same here.

Only SWC I ever struggled with was the Lee design with the longer nose - I had to push that in really deep before it started feeding and eventually swapped that mold.

On the 1911, make sure your extractor-tension is set properly (you can google for that) and try to use good magazines (ideally with the wadcutter-style feed-lips).
