Anyone on the forum purchased anything from this group. There seems to be a lot of very mixed reviews.
good to Very bad.
They seem to have a variety of surplus rifles.
Any feedback

It's been a long time, but it went ok. I buy again from them based on my experience. I think they are part of Interarms or owned by the same guy.

Anyway Interarms bought and are bringing in all of the Ethiopian surplus. Seems Ethiopia kept everything they bought, captured or was given since the mid 1800's. That's why there is the great variety.

I think Classic Firearms is also selling some of them and seen to have the nicer ones. Forgotten Weapons has had a few videos about these Ethiopian rifles and mentioned who else is selling them. Also I think a lot more is coming in, but I don't think they plan on flooding the market.

I’ve looked at some of their guns and thought the price were reasonable, but don’t have any first hand experience.

Given that in WW2 large numbers of Ethiopians fought armed only with a long knife, one can figure that every last gun from there has been well used.

I bought two Gahendra Martini Henry rifles several years back and had no complaints. Some great deals pop up on their site from time to time, but you have to act fast.

I've purchased two M1 Carbines from them, a Standard Products and an Inland, both described as "Good", and I'm thrilled with both. Lots of character and good, honest use.

The Damsels on the CMP Forum and Carbine Collectors Forum cry huge tears because they really thought they could pay $1200 for a 75+ year old rifle that had been stored in a Quonset hut in the African desert, inhabited by goats, and get an example in excellent to unissued condition.

...............That's some fine work for an M1 Carbine. It's only reason for being was to give officers and the men of crew served weapons something better then a pistol with which to shoot back. A friend of mine was a Marine and was attached to Vietnamese troops lead by American officers. His job was to call in tube artillery, Air, or Naval gunfire. He related that a Vietnamese trooper would just about trade off their mother or sister to get an M1 Carbine and get rid of the M! Garand they had to hump around the jungle.

That is correcto Buckshot.. Imagine weighing 100 pounds and having to slog about with a 10# rifle that was near as tall as you and the recoil enough to be real afraid to shoot it.

Dang, looks like you have a winner in that Inland!

How does she do with BOOLITS?

Did anyone go look at Royal Tiger's pricing for the recent M-1 Carbines?

Thanks!! YEs, they're prices are definitely going up!!

Every time I shoot a good group with my carbines, I take a picture of the target(s) with my phone.....then forget to put them on the computer and label them! I have five carbines and they all do pretty good with cast.

I use a Lee C309-113-F and an RCBS 30-115-SP. I prefer the RCBS mold because bullets from it shoot practically the same POI as 110 gr. FMJ's while the Lee shoot a bit higher.

The bullet used here is from a Lyman 3118 mold, the old 32-20 bullet-

This is a bullet from an Arsenal mold I bought to cast from my .32 S&W.

I'm guessing that your 6 grains of Unique load is manual operation only, correct?

It generally depends on the magazine and how many rounds are left in it.

I've discovered that as the magazine empties and upward pressure from the follower spring isn't as heavy on the underside of the bolt, inhibiting free movement of the bolt, that they'll actually feed sometimes. I have no doubt that 6.5 grs. of Unique would feed, but I'm already getting a little leading 6" or so ahead of the chamber, so the heavier charge wouldn't work without making leading worse.

Interesting, thanks. Ive only used the Lee 113f with W296/H110 so I was curious about whether the light Unique load would function semi auto.
