Nice find.

Never used them, but I would not hesitate to. I cannot get very anal about loading pistol ammunition. And now, it matters even less.

I used MT primers years ago. Bang.
No issues.

Regarding Trap 100, double-check with Hodgdon on this, but I believe it to be equivalent to Win 452AA. If that is the case, you made a nice find.

452AA is my all time favorite powder for target velocity handgun loads. I've used it in 38, 40, 45 and even 10mm. Of course it is discontinued and superseded by WST.

Loved the smell of Win 452 AA in my 38 loads! Worked good for trap loads too.

I bought 10K Magtech spp primers a few years back. They work fine.

I've never specifically used their primers, but have shot and sold a lot of their ammo when I was in business and never a complaint. I'd have to assume that they use their primers to load their ammo. I've still got some, and the boxes look just like your photo.

I've used magtechs on occasion. No problems.
I love old powder finds, working through a pound of Herco that cost $12 new...

I still have some of the same BP "Superfine" fffg. It actually is a fffg BP in burn rate from several pressure tests I've done in several cartridges from the 32 S&W up through the 45-70. It is a very good BP to use in handgun cartridges from the 32 S&W. 32 S&WL up through the 45 Colt.

I've never run across Magtech primers but I have shot up a bunch of their 44 Special and 45 ACP ammo (mostly before I got dies for a specific caliber). All seemed consistent and all went bang...
