Looking for suggestions on NOE boolit molds for 300 BO subsonic. I plan to powder coat and shoot subsonic. I am looking at NOE molds, but would look at other brands. Probably looking for 200+ grain molds. I plan on firing these in a Ruger American Ranch rifle.

Thanks for any experience with these

I use this on with the GC option but don't use a GC.

This is a tac driver in an H&R 300 AAC BO with a can, good out past 100 yards, and hits like a tank Subsonic over some 700X

This mould was suggested to me but I don't have it in hand yet. I ordered mine with the GC option but it's available without. And just because it has the option for a GC that doesn't mean it must use one. Somewhere in that thread far below I link to a chapter of a book where velocities of cast bullets is discussed. I think I should be good to go even supersonic with that bullet and with a GC almost certainly. But I'm new to this and it's just based on what I read and what was suggested to me.

This is the thread where we were discussing .300BLK moulds. http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?415931-OK-I-m-confused-Help-straighten-me-out/page2
Post #30 has an interesting linked video that shows it being used in a bunch of guns.

I don't know what you're planning on firing it in, but for semi-auto feeding I wanted something with a small meplat. For hunting a flat meplat would work better as long as it feeds. I didn't want to gamble.

I have that one in 4-cav brass (I'm still in load-development so I have no practical advice) - it feeds in my AR if I set the OAL to 2.090" and gently use a Lee factory crimp die.
