I've had a thing for 7mm TCU for a while now, and yesterday I walked into a shop with not one, but two barrel in that caliber. One is a 10" bull, the other a 12" octagon. Anyone have experience with rifle calibers in octagon barrels?

Unless, you want a Collectable(octagon), get the Bull barrel.

Agree with Jon, if you want a shooter, get the bull barrel.
Actually the 7mmTCU is a pistol caliber, designed for handgun silhouettes. Moderate recoil and enough power to reliably knock down rams at 200m. When I was shooting steel the TCU was one of my favorites. Shot good with jacketed and cast boolits. Cases are easy to make from .223 brass.
