Maybe someone can help.
I am trying to find a mold to cast for a 5.7x28 round. Need something like a 22cal .224 36gr
Spire point with a gas check or at least under 40gr.
I plan to powder coat them.
Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

The first question I'll ask is if you've had experience loading this cartridge? Not just a couple of round either, let's say 1,000 rounds.

I do understand that you have to be very cautious on loading this round. A simple
1 or .2 gr change can cause damage.

This mold is a 35 Gr. mold for the 22 Hornet I think it would be ideal for what you are wanting to do.
But on the other side, I think loading this round would be like reloading the 22 Hornet a small thin case that is easily damaged by a very small adjustment .for me the 22 Hornet is a love hate relationship, I love to hunt with it, but hate to reload for it.

I don't think the flat nose will work.
Has to be the point style especially to cycle in the ps90

It goes far beyond that. It's a VERY difficult cartridge to reload. The brass has a coating that if it's removed you're in a world of hurt. Also many chambers are generous which leads to brass that's blown out.

I've been reloading for 45 years or so and after studying this round I decided it wouldn't be worth the time or aggravation to reload it.
