These were made up in Western Australia from Pattern 07 shortened with a short scabbord for the 'home guard' in second world war. Saw one go on Fleabay for $368.00 only a couple of months ago. I've had one for quite a few years!

A picture is worth a thousand words. I would have called bs on a bayonet for the Martini Cadet but one can't argue with a picture and the word of a fellow Australian. If I had that I would check if the War Museum had one in its display, thanks for sharing. Regards Stephen

Reminds my of something I saw in the Cody, Wyoming museum's Winchester collection: They have a "musket" version of the 1900/67/67A family of single shot .22 bolt actions with a bayonet that they made up for the Aussie Boy Scouts, or military cadets. Probably do more damage with the pigsticker than the bullets.:lol:
