Digging thru my stash I discovered a box of Magtech small pistol primers ....
Of which I have not seen available for quite a while ....
Do they still make them ?
Are they any good ?
Made in Brazil reading closer ... so will see how the do .

There ammo is surefire, so I would assume the primers to be the same. I'd use 'em!

I shot a bunch of LP primers. They were on the hard side. Only a problem with light primer strikes.

I’ve used about 20k of them with no issues.

bought Magtech box of 50rds of 300BLK. Shooting in my Savage Axis 300BLK, had 15 rds wouldn't fire. Thought perhaps it was my rifle as some Savages are known for light strikes but these also failed to go bang in a friend"s Ruger American Ranch 300BLK. Just FYI. Not trashing Magtech as I also had some Aguila 7.62x51 factory 150fmjs that also refused to go bang.
Think companies are having so much trouble meeting demands that some less than perfect ammo is slipping thru. Least none of the ammo was high priced so really not an issue as was using as range fodder anyway. Now if I had paid north of 30 bucks a box, I would have felt different.
