I'm looking to get a 44 caliber mold in order to shoot out of a H&R single shot. I currently shoot Hornady FTX 265 grain out of it. I would like to get a mold that will shoot similar to it. I realize that this is a bad time to be buying a mold, but at least I can start looking for mold XXX. Thanks for any suggestions.

44 mag? 44-40? I used the 200gr Lee mold for the 44-40 and like it

A while back I bought a double cavity LEE TLC432-265-RF "Ranch Dog". It casts a WFN bullet that works like a charm in my 44 Mag Marlin 1894. I liked it so much a bought the same mold (5 cavities) from NOE.

Jacketed shoots slower that cast of the same weight and charge. You can probably run a 280-285 grain cast the same speed at Max for both loads.

But the pickings are slim out there. The HG503 is in stock at MP Molds and there are 20 threads to help you with load development.

10.8-11.2 Unique very accurate load

20 2400 Shot ok

23.5 H110 powerful and accurate

At this point in time getting any boolit molds might be tough. But all of the suggestions from the other members are great ones. The 44 mag is a reloaders dream. You can go from a powder puff load, to a hand cannon

I have 2 molds for 44 M, both Lee, one the C429-240 SWC, the other a 429-208 WC. The 310 is a good boolit. I have a Classic Carbine (H&R 1971) in 45 Colt and many 45 molds from 200 RN to 300 RF. My favorite is the 255 RF. My favorite to shoot in the 20" Carbine is a 454 RB with poofter loads at 900 FPS. Quiet like a 22 LR and hard hitting

A Lee mold would serve you well, I have quite a few of them and like them very much, with that said, good luck finding one in stock and if you do find them they most likely have doubled in price.
I would look at NOE, MP and Arsenal molds, their prices have been consistent but I would act quick, fast and in a hurry if you want one any time soon. If you find an MP mold to your liking you will have that thing at your door step within three maybe four days of ordering.
Accurate molds is another quality option but to rich for my blood.

For many years the Lee 429-240 SWC was all I loaded for my 44 Remington Magnum. The S&W Model 29-2 seemed to dote on that boolit

If I were to recommend one Lee mold for that cartridge, the 240 SWC would be it.
