I haven't tried it with cast, but it's my GOTO powder for mid weight J-words in 30-06.

I have tried it in 308W in a AR-10, with cast and got decent groups. However, this spherical powder must be loaded to near 80% case capacity or risk SEE. Not a powder for reduced cast loads. Save it for jacketed loads. It's the only powder I use for jacketed in 308W. Also like in 243W, with 55grain Nostler Ballistic Tips. I purchase it in eight pound jugs.

I use aa2520 in my 30/30 cast loads. 26 grs under the noe 313/150 cast bullet gaschecked
sized .311. with a pinch of darcon filler. 1,800 fps. and very accurate in my 340 Savage.
