Just because it was a good deal Ruger security 9 compact

Well I wasn't reall shopping for a compact 9mm but one popped up on our state firearms forum and he was in the same little town as me so figured what the heck I'll go look at it as it was well below market price even pre Biden rush price . Haven't owned a 9mm is probably 15 years but I'm the owner of a Ruger security 9 compact model . It's sorta the same size as the Glock 26/27 . Just as blocky too but the grip feels better . Not really warmed up to it yet as I sit here and look at it and keep telling myself it was a good deal for a brand new pistol . Now to try to find some ammo and go shoot this thing . Can anyone give me some positive input on these pistols.

Well, I have one,, and it has been flawless in function. In my opinion, well worth the money.

Good to hear ! Found two boxes of 9mm in a very dusty ammo can so hopefully go shoot it tomorrow . Gotta say it's atypical Ruger ain't the prettiest girl at the dance but built like a tank ! Starting to feel a bit better about it .
