I was at Cabelas tonight and picked up two cans of International powder. It has Shotgun data on the can and I thought i might use it in 9mm of 38 special loadings. No data to be had on the Hogdon site. Also could use it for 45 or cast in 8mm and other rifle loadings. It was cheap and I couldn't resist. Any info on how this powder has worked would be appreciated.

My experience with it is in 308 Winchester and a 180 grain cast bullet at about 1,100 fps. Very accurate. If I recall correctly it could be considered a slightly slow Red Dot.
Good Luck,
Rick

do you have a Hodgdon reloading manual? check the Cowboy Action Data section.

Your not going to find much data at all. The powder behaves in erratic ways. Hodgdon does not recommend it for anything other than shotgun

I might use it in a pinch, but that's about it. Definitely not optimal. It ain't no red dot, that's for sure. And a little dirty if I recall correctly. Been a while since I've used it.
