Looks like a 12 point wrench and 3 Allen wrenches for a specific job.

Just a guess, but it looks similar to a barrel nut tool for an AR-15. Obv not exactly the same, but maybe there's another firearm with a removable barrel that fits this tool.

Maybe a tool for removing the barrel on a Dan Wesson revolver?

Thank you one and all for the ID and especially for the link to the tool's use. Now I know - and have two (2) of these tools - but no DW Model W.
