Prayers For My Boss

My immediate boss was stricken last week with paralysis of his lower body. Rushed to intensive care he lingered for a few days until they determined that he had an aneurysm in his lower back and performed emergency surgery. He can now feel his toes but not his legs and is in a wheelchair looking forward to weeks of therapy to learn to walk again.

Please, if you have time, remember Walt in your prayers.

Father God. I lift up Walt to you this morning. I pray that you will guild the doctors and use them as your tool to provide the care and healing that he needs. Be with him while he goes through this therapy and help him to return to normal. We know that you can do all things and you can lay your loving arms around him and raise him up. You are a loving father that wants the best for your children. Be with him and his family. Show them your love. I pray this in the name of your Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Father, I come to you because You are the Great Healer and I am praying for healing, comfort, and freedom from pain for jonp's boss. Please guide his medical team and let his boss and his medical team discover the proper path that they must take to restore his health. AMEN

Heavenly Father, I don't understand why you would let Walt go through this season of numbness, but I know that I deserve much worse. We all do. Thank You that our story does not end there. Thank you for Your love, grace, and mercy. I trust You and Your plan. I believe that You have something better in store for Walt, something that is greater than I can ask or imagine. I pray that You would let Walt know Your peace, now more than ever. Please be with Walt now, and give the doctors, nurses, physical therapists, medical staff, and coworkers wisdom. These things I pray not in my name, but in the name above every name, Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace.
