Slugged a couple of barrels today and both came out at .308. Started looking at molds and darn. Molds are in the same category as primers it seems.
Where are you folks finding them?

Bill: AL at noebulletmoulds@gmail.com Has some 30cal. molds available. Pickings seem slim in all gun related supplies. Gp

Besides Al at NOE https://noebulletmolds.com/site/ there is also Tom at Accurate Molds http://www.accuratemolds.com - I have molds from each and both make outstanding molds.

You can try posting a WTB ad in the Swappin & Sellin section or even look on FleaBay and/or Amazon.

Things are indeed kinda slim for about anything firearm related. In good new, if history is an indicator, this too shall pass.

If you want a lee mold, I believe titan reloading will accept a backorder.

I find most of my moulds right here in CastBoolits in the WTS 'Want to Sell' & if I am after something specific I post a WTB, 'Want to Buy' post.
Most of the boys here take very good care of their moulds, I've never been sold a bill of goods...a bad mould.

If you need to have work done on a mould, as in having one or more cavities Hollow Pointed, then you need to contact...

erik@hollowpointmold.com . . . . . Erik is an artist in reworking moulds. He sells moulds too.

One of my favorite acquisitions from CastBoolits is this unique combination mould that Eric modified with three sets of pins for Hollow Points...If I want more pins, like a flat point meplat type or say a 'cup point HP', all I need do is send it back to him.

Midway had one when I ordered a couple weeks ago,,
I would just ask places like Midway to contact you, when the molds come in..

eBay has MANY new ones every week,, but, they seem a little "pricy"!,,,

+1 for NOE, Accurate, or MP. I’ve worked with Al and Miha (NOE and MP respectively) and they are both incredible owners who are there for the customer.

A WTB thread as mentioned also works well.

I'm not sure what guns you have and what type of shooting you are planning, but MP Mold's 30 SIL is my favorite design of the several 30 cal molds I own. They are in stock and he has many variations. It might take a week and a half to arrive ...and hopefully it won't get held up at customs (it rarely happens, but it does happen).

Bill, if you don't score a mold in the Swapping and Selling section, here is another option. I ordered a mold from Accurate and it was a new design that was not in the catalogue. Tom sent me a drawing and I ordered the mold that day and had it in my hand 10 days later. You don't have to wait until he makes some to put in stock, he makes them for you when you order it. We casters are very fortunate to have custom mold makers. Warning: once you cast with one of these Accurate Molds, you will be pretty spoiled as to the quality. I am not in the business of disparaging Lee or RCBS or Lyman molds but if you can't find them, you are blessed with other options.273457 Here is a pic of the 45 cal 253 gr boolits that the mold produced.

Another option is LBTmolds.com he’s not for the impatient but makes a great mold.

I just checked Lee and they are sold out of just about all their rifle molds.

Pretty much only buy exclusively custom molds from Tom at Accurate, or I buy vintage Lyman and RCBS molds from various other places, including here.
