I don't cast any more, but I have few hundred 150gr. bullets left from my last casting session from the RCBS 38150K mould. I tried to come as close as I could to Lyman #2 alloy when they were cast, but how much has that likely to have changed over the years? Is there any way to tell, without purchasing a hardness tester...not in the cards...?
I have bought some Matt's Bullets 160 gr. RNFP bullets to test, and had them sized to my cylinder throats... .358. Matt's standard size for the projectile is .359. Can I just order the .359, and don't worry, be Happy? Will the nominal ~ .001 over cylinder diameter be a factor at all, or should I just run them through my .358 resizer and relube with BLL when I get some more?
Thanks!:)
