So a while back I picked up a neat antique Remington rolling block that someone had very nicely converted to 45LC with a heavy carbine length barrel.

It had its first range trip today, and it's a decent shooter. It took a while to get the sights dialed in, and once done it shot great. Using Trailboss and 200gr hardcast, it was able to consistently break shotgun clays on the 50 yard berm. Given the age, it is a light load gun, but definitely fun to shoot, and quite unique.

Sweet little roller there well fed. Always liked the 45LC in a roller. What weight is coming out the barrel?

It is a fairly heavy little beast, probably 9lbs - almost all of which is barrel. The barrel is about an inch across.

A nice fun caliber to enjoy. I personally am not a fan of carbines or short barrels, but considering the caliber this is a neat Roller build. And looks like someone took some care to do case colors and bluing nicely.
