I'm curious if gas checks fit your bullets properly. I have the same mold and bullet except in a 2-cavity. Gas checks won't fit on mine.
Thanks,
Rick

Yes sir, they do fit but man it is close. The checks I am using are aluminum from Sage Outdoors.

The quality of the Larsen mold is impressive. Miha is at the top of his game.
Good looking bullets!

Yes,I find myself casting for fun with this mold.
I have no 44 Gas Checks yet (backordered from NOE) but these shoot great with coating only. "Great" being subjective but I have a berm @ 75 meters and happily shoot claybirds with a 8 3/8" m29.

That is like a candy bowl for men.....I like it!! I think I might give powder coating a go for the 1st with this last bunch I casted.

I am so impressed with the mold I was really excited about ordering a aluminum 8 cavity mold for my 27-2, but it would be about 4000th of an inch to long between the crimp groove and meplat. https://www.mp-molds.com/product/358-429-360-cal-keith-solid-gas-check-8-cavity-mold/. On to Arsenal for the Keith.

I was going to suggest the 359 Hammer as it is a favorite but it's out of stock. It has shot extremely well out of 5 different 357's.
