I have a 1888 commission rifle.
Slugs at .318
No moulds or dies for it.
Can I lap out a Lee .318 sizer to .318 and size Lee 324-175-R boolits to .318 for it?
Any help appreciated

I would do a chamber impresion first to see what size neck and throat area are. You might be able to load ..321 boolits and save the hassle. Remember, fit boolit to throat not groove diameter. To answer your question, yes you can.

You can order a sizer from lee any size you want for like $30. Lyman made a 321 mould and I think maybe a 319 but they I don't think they do any more. They are around, used though.

a 321 sized to 320 would probably all you would want.
i would slug the bbl any ways, tolerences being what they were 120 yrs ago.
your 318 could be 315 or 320.

Buckshot could make you a push through die (sans LEE) in whatever size you need for arround $24.00.
