morning guys...

last week I fell from a beaver dam while hunting in an ice storm and wandered around for several hours lost and wet and semi hypothermic. no problem.. got through that... it was a week ago... just enough time for Giardia to set in something fierce. started up yesterday, and I diddnt realize what was happening as I just thought it was something I ate and had completely forgotten about the beaver dam folly... now I am really really sick on both ends, and with my spinal issues, I am a wreck. i will be ok in a few days, but right now, the wife is hiding my bedside handgun.... and the bedside rifle.... and the knives... and the scissors. ..

I will pray for you - Been there on the Giardia & and the wet , cold and wandering thing. Back in the old days, the medicine was atabrine (old school anti-malarial). They gave you just enough to kill the bugs, but not kill you. I hope the stuff they are using now is better - probably flagel

yep.. it is Flagyl.. a nastier tasting antibio is not made... better hope you can swallow with the first swig of water. it almost always gives me a sever case of Thrush on top of the other symptoms. lesser of the evils i guess
