Picked up a Frontier version (44-40) today to go with my nicer 44 Russian. Loaded it with some BP 44-40 and did some shooting when I got home. I like it!:-D

Anybody else shoot these things?

Between small sights and my old eyes, they weren't pretty. I'll get a target put up tomorrow and pay more attention to my shooting.

I have a New Frontier Model 3 in 44-40 I shoot with low pressure smokeless loads. The trigger is unlike my other double actions it actually stages to where you can cock the hammer with the trigger and hold it before you break the shot. There is a picture of the gun in my avatar.
