EAA Bounty Hunter First Hand Experience ?

I'm considering an EAA Bounty Hunter in .45 Colt. Just among you owners / past owners of one of the centerfire models what are your general thoughts about it ? In general has it been durable, reliable and trouble free over " X " number of rounds ? I want to hear the good and the bad . I am aware the trigger is not very light or crisp but for what I do it's of little concern. Total reliability is. I shoot SA revolvers one handed and most of the time from 10 yards in. I handload very modest < 14K pressure loads for .45 Colt. I ask you kindly to refrain from suggesting any other make. I'm aware of them and either have one or am not interested in one. Thank you.

I had one in 357 mag. It seemed to be a fairly well put together revolver, but the sights were about 10" off at 100yds.
I wrote the factory and they sent back a snarky reply saying they were not meant for target guns, just guys shooting steel up close...

Don't own one but one of my FFL's had a couple and he was quite pleased with them. Thought that they were a good value.

@geo57 did you get it, how are you impressions ? I am considering the same -- I cannot find fairly priced Rugers, and I do not want double action, or no-transfer-bar original colt copies

I have 6 in .44 mag that was used by teens in SASS. I did not have any trouble the 6 years of hard use. Ressessed cylinder which was a sign of a high dollor gun.
