This morning this doe walked out and about 165 yards she was staring right at me acted like she didn’t know if she wanted to eat corn or to walk away so I let loose my ranch dog 165-310hp powder coated over 37.5 of Varget in a Thompson center compass 308 1/12 twist

She ran 15-20’ before she gave out and slid down a small hill about 20 yards the blood trail was easy to follow lol

Very nice! Can I ask what type of groups you get out of that load? Do you use a filler?

Congrats on the deer. For some reason it just seems more fun when you do it with handloads

Congrats on that shot. Did you recover the boolit? I have a couple of the T/C Compass rifles and they, along with the Savage Axis, are the best of that price range imho.

I agree. My last four deer have come from the same box of ammo I loaded five years ago LOL!
