A Happy Thanksgiving to all. Today is the day to give thanks for the important things we have been blessed with . . . family, friends, neighbors . . . the important things in life. May everyone have a safe holiday and while you may or may not be able to gather with those you love . . . take the time to give a call to someone who may be alone today and visit with them for a spell. Too many folks are alone and they need to know that others care.

Just my wife and I this year with the covid thing.

Still I just deboned half of a 13 lb bird, got it in the fridge along with the mashed taters, gravy and dressing.

I cut the whole breast off, trimmed it and slipped it into a vacumn seal bag, we'll cook that at some later date. Two of us can't eat that many left overs.

Anyway I hope this finds you and yours as happy, contented, thankful, and full as I am.

My son-in-law cooked his first turkey ever, and it was a success. We had most of the local family at his house for the big dinner. Three of the youngest granddaughters played happily together for hours.
Thank God for friends and family!
