Ia this an example of Herter's green press color?

CAD instructor at local vocational school bought this press, a Herters model 72.
I at first told him it had been repainted and then remembered reading that some early Herters presses were green.
What are the opinions about authenticity of color for this press?

It's a repaint, all the 72's were brown. The green presses were dark green, The Ruhr presses were slightly lighter and then there is the Model 1 green scale that came from??? It's a sort of pea green.

There is paint overspray in the ends of the pin on your press, sure sign of a repaint.
