I recently saw this.

Justice, is getting what you deserve.

Mercy, is not getting what you deserve.

Grace, is getting what you don't deserve!

So I ponder God's grace. Does grace have conditions that must be met to receive it? Is grace unlimited, can, and will it be withdrawn? Where does grace begin, and where does it end?

Certainly one way to put it, and something to think about.

Myself, I think that Grace can be withdrawn. I know that some view it as unconditional love. Sort of like some parents who will stand by and defend their errant children no matter what they do. But, I do not believe that Grace, once given, is an unconditional license to sin.

Once we are forgiven, it is up to us to sincerely attempt to hold up our end of the gift. Where does it end? Only God knows for certain, but I think you'll have a feeling if it should happen.

Through a procession of ungodliness, Romans 1 tells us that God will turn you over to a reprobate mind. His grace is not withdrawn but the likelihood of repentance is reduced by your own decisions.
