I am making some tang sight inserts on my lathe. I have the old man's eye sight problem and can't afford the $75 adjustable eyepiece. The one I am copying has a thread on the shaft that I have determined to be a 12/40 thread. I have not found any luck finding a die with this thread. Asked Brownell's about it but no answer as of yet. Does anyone know a place to get such a critter?

Are you sure it isn't 7/32x40. That is the standard eyepiece thread........I think.........

Thanks for all the help. Hope all of you have a very merry Christmas, even if it pisses off all the secular pinheads. Catch
