If I had known it was you, I wouldn't have bid against you. Guess that's why they qiut showing names.
Look up the price of a Ballisti-cast...they do most of the H&G designs...it is a #550 or 650 in their catalog. A new four cavity is about $200; plus handles are around $40 IIRC.
I got the same 4 cavity H&G for around $50 plus shipping awhile back off eBay....with handles and San Diego address...It's an oldie. The NEXT ONE a week later went for around $100.
There are bargains out there now. The crummy economy is getting a lot of goodies listed on internet auctions by people who don't have much idea of what the stuff is worth...or someone who is liquidating for quick cash.

LOL. Well atleast we didn't go crazy. 55 bucks was my limit. I have mostly Lyman molds and a couple of RCBS and wanted to see what all the fuss was about H&G molds. I have the lyman 358495 which is supposed to be just like the #50. Now I can test for myself.

Interesting...are you sure about the text? hensey....not "Hensley"?
If it's "Hensley" it's just a version that pre-dates the Hensley & Gibbs partnership which occurred in 1941. From 1933 to 1941 Geo. (George) A. Hensley was a solo operation, so the very early moulds are marked "Geo. A. Hensley".

The title of the auction was listed as Hensey. It's a Hensley& Gibbs, San Fran, CA stamp
