Lyman and MP are what I use. I think Lees will also work but I don't have any of those.

I've tested NOE handles. Works 2 and 3 cavity molds

Lee opens wider than MP. Helps with 6 cavity and large bullets.

Handles are tapered too making it easier to hold when the mold is closed.

Last 4 pair I bought (single purchase) were bent and had to be straightened but I suspect they fix the issue by now. I could have sent them back but fixing was easier.

Mal brings up an important issue about the Lee handles being tapered. The MP handles are well built but they are wide when attached to the molds. Not a problem exactly, but after holding them for a 3 or so hour casting session, they can get to be really wide. I keep meaning to put one set of MP handles on the sander to slim the wood down to get them slimmer. Until then, when I cast with a MP mold (I use them the most) they'll have Lee's attached.

Funny that I've never paid attention to this.

I got another 4 cav brass MP mold today and Miha didn't have handles in stock. So I found some Lee handles and yes, casting is somehow even easier with Lee handles.

Odd isn't it. For me it's not an issue for a short session, but I usually don't like to waste time heating everything up for a couple hundred. It's something you jist have to try and the Lee's feel better. There is a difference in quality between the MP and Lee handles, but I'll use the Lee's from now on.

I like having both when casting with two molds.

To me the MP handles are executed better, but Lee has the better design (in my humble opinion). The MP design has the weight of the mold hanging out there like a divining rod. The Lee design puts the weight of the mold closer to the hand which is better for these 81 year old hands.

This issue is easy to see in the above photo by Petander.
