these are both flat nose boolits, you could get away with just a flat top punch

Grain: 170gr
Top Punch : 429
Bullet # : 358477
Grain: 150gr
Top Punch : 429

Yes I've lurked a while, and thanks for the info. I subscribe to the philosophy "better to remain silent and let people think you're an idiot, than open your mouth and let the whole world know you are one. LOL I learn a lot from scanning the forum and searching for answers. I started casting in 1974 and have done it since then. Yet I still have questions and you guys are so knowledgeable. Thanks again

Well, you been here longer than me, howdy!
I have an RCBS 38-150-SWC, which is like the 358477. I have a 429 top punch but it doesn't fit super well, though I can't rember exactly why it doesn't fit without testing it again. Tell you what does fit perfect, a #8. Might not fit your bullets but it sure fits mine.
My #8 doesn't fit the 31141 worth squat though, ya know what does fit? The #402.

Thanks, I'll pick up a number 8 to hedge my bets.

I'm not sure what they make for redding, totally missed that part. I was talking Lyman punches.
