We,, to start off with, I found that it is virtually impossible to search for "LUBE" on a bullet casting site!! LOL!! :bigsmyl2:

I was looking for some bullet casting stuff I remembered having,,
and, what should I find,, but, some VERY unique gun lube..

I used to go to manufacturing trade shows back in the early 1990's, and earlier,
I would bet that is where it came from.

Research shows BRAYCO had some ties to CASTROL,,

The bottle says "Shake Well"
I would bet the lube has Teflon,,,

What would "LSA" stand for, anyways??

Has anyone ever seen this before??

I have not seen a bottle like yours, but I have a metal oil can that fits in an M1 cartridge belt, that was made by U.B. Bray Co., Los Angeles,
CA. It says OIL-LUBE., PRES., MEDIUM.

Also have one made by Standard Oil

Kinda looks similar to the ones we had in the 1970's for the M-16s. Screenshot from the phone. You have to kinda enlarge it.

I always keep some weapons oil medium around. Never know when you might need it,, there is a heavier weapons oil heavy?. Think i have a couple bottles.Frank

From my experience, LSA is a lot better small arms lube than Break-Free ever even thought about being. LSA is a white thick almost semi-solid fluid, vs a liquid.

Stocked up years ago on GI LSA . Never had an AR quit running yet.
