I recently bought this older 1 hole mold off of a member here and I have to say I am impressed! This is my first steel mold, as I am cheap and all.my others are lee aluminum. This bad boy maintained heat once heated l, and dropped keepers very quickly.
Slow going for certain with a single drop, but they are consistent for sure. They averaged 252.9 once sized and lubed, most actually are this weight. I cast them with an alloy at 2.2 tin, 2 antimony, a touch of arsenic, and the rest lead; a coww mix + lead + solder. Water dropped them to bring up the hardness, as I want these to hit magnum velocity.

Wow this Keith bullet is a beast! I can't wait to load some up and try them.out. I will be loading ladders with 2400 and cci300 as well as h110 with win mag primers. This boolit looks like it will topple a freight train!!!!

I liked the way it looks so much I also procured a mold of this design with a gas check cut. Of course from a member here.

Does your mould have the square lube groove?

It is square on the outside, but the center in half round.

That is my go to mold for the 44 mag handgun. I use the 429215 with a gas check in my rifle.
