40 S&W using CFE

I have been working on a load for my 40 S&W. I worked up to 5.9 grains of CFE with a Lee 180 grain TC boolit. I have been able to get a two inch group at 30 meters standing. This load averages at just a tad more than 1000 FPS (1002 average). No bulged case no flattened primer.

Assume cfe pistol. I use it for the jacketd, w231 for 165 cast, ~950. CFE runs dirty until you get close to full fill.

Your load seems to be working just like the suggested starting load for CFE Pistol on the Hodgdon data site for Berrys bullets. Same powder charge and same velocity.
