I wanted a 200 gr bullet as a heavy cast for my 10mms. Found an RCBS 200 gr SWC on sale, and picked one up. Cast a few hundred without problems, but ran into an issue when sizing. My barrels need bullets sized to about .402, and a .402 just kisses the sides of the bullet where the seam is. So, I sent it off to Eric at Hollow Point Bullet molds, and had him open the base up larger enough so that it can be sized back down to .402. This corrected the out of roundness and took the bevel out. Bullet drops out about .4035 at the base. Weight is now about 215 gr.
I loaded a few up, and they drop into the chamber with just a little snugness at the end. If I needed to go any larger than .402, I would be in trouble. Now I need to now get to the range to test.

That should be a fine boolit to use. Well done.
