Bought some shot today

Getting ready to start loading trap loads for my 16s and located a guy on Craigslist selling home made shot for $30 for 25 pounds. Not exactly local, but a nice drive and we visited my son who's going to college on KC so a good trip. Bought 200 pounds of 7 1/2, my math has that equating to 3200 shells, more if I go with a 7/8 ounce load. Gonna have to keep that guy on a list of good people to know for when I run out.

I think I did OK, test shooting will tell, I suppose, but it looks good.

Just make sure it's got graphite on it. I use a 3/4 oz load in the 12's make things last longer.

Yes it does. He and I talked for a while and he explained the process. I've been intrigued with the idea of getting a shot maker, but for now, I think I'll just buy iy and save that one for when I catch up on some of the projects I have now.

If I may ask, where in Kansas is Richdog, or more accurately, where is this shot maker? I’m just a few miles from the Kansas border, close to Independence. If he sells to other shooters, I might make a drive too.
