Has anyone seen a Steyr (1913) action paired with a Mauser-like trigger guard/floorplate and mag follower resembling that in a Mosin Nagant?
This is an old sporter conversion, looks English but no maker's name I could see. The rifle has a sporter barrel with sling swivel loop, express sights, butterknife bolt handle and claw-mount scope bases.
To be clear the magazine is not the enbloc type nor is the rifle of Mannlicher Schoenauer spool magazine type.

Lots of Comission 88 style rifles were converted to have Mauser magazines .....In any case ,the magazine was the only Mannlicher feature ,the familiar action we all know is actually a development of the Comission rifle.

This arrangement is apparently what I am seeing in the rifle I looked at.
Thank you.

You can tell where it was made/converted by the proof marks,if there is no maker......very likely Belgian ....lots of quality English guns are in fact Belgian manufacture.....there was an exemption in Belgian proof law to allow guns to be exported unmarked and proved in England ,and so pretend to be of English make.
