I ordered some push through bushings and the die kit. But the die kit is on backorder. In your experience....how long does a backorder take to be filled? I'm not in a big rush...just curious.

[EDIT] - Mods....maybe this should be in the Casting Equipment forum.

Same for me. I'm a month in and their forum gets limited attention. Please post in their forum looking for an active run on these and I will follow up post also

They did do new website and store back in 2019 after then I haven't seen any GB molds go ahead.. I got email from NOE while ago there was some AG molds back in stock...Wierd

Talked with Al. Hoping the die kits are shipped in two weeks. Left a message and he called back promptly. The call was worth it. I'll update once I show shipped out any other news

It just seems very odd that a company would monitor forum postings for items that are on backorder. Once the forum posting gets to 5 requests then they schedule a run. Why aren't they monitoring the backorders themselves?

What I'm saying is...I go to their site to "shop", place an order where something is on backorder. Ooops...now I have to go to a forum and tell them I have an interest in that item? Really? It seems like a strange way to do business.

My die bushings and push rods shipped that I ordered...but I can't do anything until the Sizer Die Body Kit comes in.

Well I'm not quite sure how things go at NOE nowadays. Before netshop/forum was rebuilt that forum was place to be and talk about molds what people are interested, what should do and what not. Now forum is mute. But there is one GB at this forum from NOE so that company isn't gone or anything. It was quite lively forum let's say couple years back. Don't actually know how they do things at this moment. I think if You can give a call to Al and ask directly You get answer... I'm just guessing because I haven't got better information how things work there

I hate to say this but I have given up on NOE. They never have anything that I want in stock, the forum is dead, I never get an answer to questions that I send in.

When I want a mold I go to Accurate and occasionally Arsenal. I am an old man, I am not waiting 19 months for a mold.

Well shooters I have only owned one Noe mold and one MP so far. I can say I like the MP mold WAY better. IMO it’s easier to use as my bullet drop out of it a lot easier. I realize it’s only a one for one comparison, but I’ve already sold off my Noe mold because the boolit that was designed to feed in my bolt gun did not. I plan on buying more MPs.

I really didn't mean this thread as a "bitchfest". I think the NOE equipment is good or I wouldn't have placed an order (backorder). I was just wondering what the leadtime was on B/O'd items. Also, trying to figure out why they rely on a forum for upcoming runs. (open discussion...not badmouthing them) I would have thought that since LEE stopped making the old style pushthru dies that NOE was in a better place for sales and that they would be in more of a demand than requiring a wait for weeks/months before scheduling a run. I understand overhead concerns...but it seems like it could be a hot product as the NOS of LEE begins to dry up.

When did Lee quit making push through dies! Man, I hate to hear that. Nobody make a die as slick OR as accurate as Buckshot. wish he was still making them.

Yeah...they switched to the new Breech-Lock system for sizing kits...but you have to have a Breech-Lock press...or buy an adapter for a press that has removable thread bushing at the top to convert it to Breech-Lock. I'm not going to do that and I won't have a single dedicated press just for sizing.

What's in stock...is all there is.....at least that is how I understand it.

They still make the push thru sizing kits as before . I ordered a .401 kit that was out of stock at the time and received my order 3 days and ago. Titan has them on their web site. I'm fortunate to be about 8 miles from Titan and slightly farther to Lee. All my purchase's from Titan are in-store. Awesome people to buy from.Always friendly and helpful.

OK...so today I received my order from NOE. To my surprise, it had the sizer die body kit included. I was not expecting that since online it showed it still in backorder.

Anyway....I'm happy....the quality is top-notch and I'll be buying more bushings/push rods as needed when the time comes.

NOE...you done good!!!

Wasn't my meaning either. Been loyal customer to NOE well quite some time. And still could buy some molds if those were in production or stock. Like much that sizing system also. Some reason things has gone like that. Well nice to hear You got what You need it and hope they get things back rolling again.

I've placed two orders within the past month for expanders and a 378-270-FN-W4 4 Cavity RG4 mold that were in stock. Both orders were shipped within 3 days. Great products.
