thanks for posting

I would be interested to see same test with small rifle and small rifle magnum added in still with 9mm

I got a Glock 19 ,, but,,
I have no idea what an average "ES" is? :!:

Thanks for sharing.

I've been meaning to quantify the velocity-difference myself but never got around to it - I appreciate your efforts :)

Very interesting. Would not have expected that much increase from Magnums.

Any data collected on the effect this has on the groups? Would there be any advantage to loading everything across the bench with the magnum primers? Say, just to simplify the inventory we keep on hand. Kind of like a free power mod. Just asking, because some day I like to think I may be able to buy primers again....
Thanks for posting up the info. It's interesting to see it in print.

Excellent data. I did a similar check for my Ruger 357 magnum revolver. I've had trouble getting magnum primers so I started using standard primers in the revolver and saving the magnums for my Henry 357 magnum rifle. In the 357 revolver results were very similar to what you found.
