Hi guys
Does anyone here happen to know the size that Pietta makes the cylinder throats on their 357 saa clones?
Got one ordered and would like to load some before it gets here. Fit is king right?

You are going to have to measure what you get. The fact that I have one that has 3 that measure .3585 and three that measure.3575 does not mean that yours will be the same. As tooling wears or gets replaced, things change. One made 15 years ago may well be different than one made today. Even the one made just before yours may have a different barrel or cylinder.

You won't know what you got until you get it. My stuff gets .358, and I have bunch of 38's and .357's, but that might not work for you.

I believe that rintinglen's assessment of the situation is correct. I do have one that I could measure, but it is 10 years old, and the measurements on the specimen you receive may vary. However, I'd guess that you wouldn't go very wrong by having some .357-.358 ammo on hand to try it out with.
