New Model 94 Winchester

My little brother, the general, came walking in this morning with a brand spanking new 1973/1974 born Winchester Model 94 30-30. It had no box but still had the big red W tag hanging from the lever. Missing the front sight hood. He bought it in a pawn shop in Virginia for $564 tax and all.

It is a purty thing!!!! He said they had another one with the box for $100 more.

For $564 I think I'd have bought an older one.

Much to the surprise of many, the 94's keep edging up in prices.

The days of a dime a dozen to anything are gone I think.
