HS-6 in the 327 Mag?

I am no fan of HS-6 as a general purpose powder, it likes to run at higher pressures than I prefer for my basic plinking loads, but I was wondering if any one has had any success with it as a medium load in the 327 Magnum? My most accurate loads have been with the "earschplittenloudenboomer" loadings of 296/H110 but I have about 3/4"s of a canister I'd like to use at a more moderate decibel level. Any ideas on useful mid-level loads?

I have used it in 327 Fed and like it. Similar to my experience with HS6 in 357, 44 Sp, 44 Mag, and 45 Colt, I try to get the powder charge to a certain level and it tends to be quite clean and very accurate. I like to consider this as my "medium" level powder and haven't been disappointed.

For my 327 (FA97) I shoot only my cast bullets from molds by MP and Accurate and they are relatively heavy for caliber. The MP Sledgehammer GC would be my favorite and 6.5 grains of HS6 and a Fed 200 makes me smile. I have no idea of the velocity and a FA revolver isn't a good gauge for pressure level observation, but the fired cases fall out of the chambers. The Accurate Molds bullet is the 31-126D PB and with the same powder charge tends to make the fired bullets land in the same place on target (on steel it's just one small smear for all 6 @ 50 yards).

FWIW, and you didn't ask, but my experience with H110 in the 327 has been good, but AA9 works better for me. AA9 is just a fine powder in the 327 size case.

My comment about the FA revolvers not being good gauges for pressure observation (voodoo stuff in truth) is my opinion because they just don't show classic pressure signs. I'll see a flattened primer in the 327 when using H110, but cases simply fall out of the cbambers even then. With HS6, I haven't seen anything but fine accuracy.
