Hey Everyone,

I am casting for pistol with good success but have not ventured into rifle yet. Much of my rifle shooting involves chasing tiny groups.

It looks to me like swaging may be the way to go for accurate rifle bullets.
?
The question is: how do I. Make 80-108 grain .224 and .243 jackets?

Or, is there another method of making accurate rifle bullets I should be looking at?

Thanks.

S.

What weight do you get out of 22 mag cases in 224?

Swaging is a lot of fun,,,,But can be Expen$ive!! I have several thousand in several different calibers. There are a lot of vid's on you tube, and several vendors here. Prior to point forming the bullets can be weighed for exact weight of each one.

You can get 120 grains from a 22Mag case drawn to .224 jacket but I don't have a gun that could shoot that. 90 grains are the heaviest I have made after trimming the jacket.

From 90 to 110 is easiest
